The Berrywood Voice

Yet another great example of Berrywood working in partnership with our parent community

This group was set up in 2005 to give parents an opportunity to share their views and suggestions with a representative from each year group. There have been various names for this group over the years culminating in a re-launch in September 2018 with the latest name change and a change in the way in the meetings will be formatted.  The aim is for there to be one representative from each class. Meetings take place termly on a Wednesday evening at 5:30 with a tabled agenda item for discussion. Also at the meeting will be the Berrywood Voice coordinator along with members of the leadership team and a governor representative. Throughout the term, additional questions can be raised by parents through class representatives, which will be answered through the minutes of the meetings. Matters for discussion may come from the Headteacher, the Governing Body or from parents themselves. Previous items for discussion have included the school’s healthy snacks policy, the use of online payments for school trips and uniform providers. Upcoming topics this year will include the school logo and new website.
