The BSA are a group of volunteer parents who work hard throughout the school year to raise funds for the school. The committee hold an annual general meeting in the Autumn term but also meet regularly throughout the year to discuss fundraising ideas and plan upcoming events. Members are welcome to join at any time but it is not necessary to be a committee member to support the BSA. The best support given is by those attending these events which helps to make them a whole community success. For those who choose to support further by helping, the BSA try to reward, where possible, by allocating VIP seating at events such as the circus and fireworks. Events that have been held during the past year include summer and Christmas fayres, circus event, firework event, car boot sale, disco’s for the children, frozen Friday’s and Mother’s and Father’s day sales, to name but a few. With school budgets becoming tighter, the additional funds raised for the school have helped us to create our stunning outdoor learning environment and purchase fantastic additional resources for our children which include iPads, computers, PE equipment and bee suits. As a team, the BSA are always ready to receive feedback, as well as ideas, and of course helpers!
