Whether you are looking for a place for your child to start with us in Year R or are moving your child in year from another school, hopefully you can find all of the information you need on this page.
If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, they will be eligible to start school in the school year beginning September 2021. From 1st November 2020 you can apply online at www.hants.gov.uk/admissions. For those without internet connection you can collect an application form from our school. The Closing date for applications is Friday 15th January 2021
Unfortunately we are unable to offer tours of the school for prospective parents due to the current Covid-19 situation. We are disappointed as we love to meet with our new families and put faces to names from the outset. We are in the process of producing a virtual tour/video about our school and hope to be ready to share this with parents electronically via our website by the end of October. We are also more than happy to have telephone conversations with families or alternatively respond to questions via email.
We know this is not ideal and should the COVID-19 situation improve in the coming months we will certainly act quickly to allow families to come and visit us.
The school operates a waiting list which strictly adheres to the Hampshire County Council admissions policy criteria. Please note that this is a dynamic list which can change as people move into and out of the area.
In the first instance you must fill out an in year application form on the Hampshire County Council admissions website. We welcome telephone calls to establish whether we currently have places and if a waiting list is in operation for that particular year group. If we are in a position to offer you a place we will arrange a visit for you and your child to come and meet us. Unfortunately, due to the size of our school and length of our waiting lists, we do not routinely offer tours of the school unless we are in a position to offer you a place.
Unfortunately we are unable to answer this as it is dependent on whether a family leaves our school or not and also the dynamic nature of the waiting list. Once you are on our waiting list, you will remain on it until the 31st August of the academic year you apply. After this, if you have not been offered a place and wish to remain on our list, you will need to re-apply.
You can kind find a list of the roads in our catchment area on the link below or clicking on the following link to HCC.
